The Black Hills Remarkable Temperature Change of January 22, 1943, the temperature in Spearfish, South Dakota, suddenly changed from -20 degrees Celsius to 7 degrees Celsius at 7:32 a.m. m., and the difference of 27 degrees Celsius occurred in just 2 minutes, a few minutes. Hours later the temperature again went from 12 degrees Celsius to -20 degrees Celsius and all this happened in 27 minutes.

A radioactive capsule the size of a pea.

Just last year, 2023, a pea-sized capsule containing radiation disappeared while being transported along an 870-mile stretch of road in Australia.

Authorities believed the capsule had fallen from a radiation meter that was being transported from a Rio Tinto mine on January 12 to a storage facility in Perth's northeastern suburbs.

The capsule could have caused burns and radiation sickness. After a difficult search of about a week, the small capsule was recovered on the side of the road.

Deaths due to grain entrapment.
